About Us

Steve Parkers Service & Repairs Ltd was established in 2017 after taking over the workshop part of Steve Parkers Ltd. Kevin Andrew the service manager has many years experience with the Land Rovers and Range Rovers having owned, rebuilt and raced them over the years. He was in fact a customer of Steve Parkers Ltd from the tender age of 17 having bought his first LandRover. He is also the owner of a parts shop in Shaw, Oldham where he has got to know many other models of cars by supplying parts and fitting smaller parts by the roadside. In September 2016 he began shadowing Steve Parker to learn the details of running a busy Land~rover garage and then finally took over in January 2017 with Steve Parker staying on until March assisting with the running of the garage.

About Steve Parkers Ltd began in a nature reserve in Rochdale, by Steve Parker and the late Sam Parker, after almost a decade of running land Rovers and then racing and trialing Land Rovers for a hobby.

The company began by selling ex-MoD Series Land Rovers, mainly lightweights, and then quickly moved onto engine conversions to replace the slow underpowered standard engines in the series Land Rovers and later diversified into the wide range of services offered today. In 1992 Steve Parkers sister Sue joined the expanding company to take care f the day to day running of the company and assist in the mail order side of the business. In 1993 The company moved to larger premises in Whitworth, just 1.5 miles up the road. Then in 1995 the exhaust manufacturer for the engine conversion decided to shut down so, we bought the machinery and employed some of the staff which we thought would compliment the engine conversion part of the business, so the special exhausts are manufactured in house. With it came a list of customers some of which we still manufacture exhaust for today.
